    In this article I would like to continue the topic that I discussed about BENGALURU FROM BENGAKAALOORU before a week. If you missed my previous article #THE BENGALURU FROM BENDAKAALOORU PART-1#

    As we discussed in the previous week that is about The history of  Bengaluru from 890AD TO 2022AD, this part-II will be continued talk of that &  now in this week I will try to brief about;-

1. POPULATION OF BENGALURU
2. WHY BENGALURU IS FAMOUS FOR
3. BEST PLACE TO VISIT IN BENGALURU.


    LET'S START THE DISCUSSION WITHOUT WASTING MUCH TIME

1. POPULATION OF BENGALURU.


Population density chart of Bengaluru

    Bangalore (now Bengaluru) is one of the city having the highest population density in India & also in the world. i.e
I. 4th most populous city in India.
II. 28th most populous city in the world.

    If we look into the historical population data of Bengaluru we can get information as follows.

    The above Historical population of Bengaluru from the year 1871 to 2021 indicates Bengaluru is not  only hotspot for companies headquarter, but also for huge population. 

    The main notable thing in the above table we can notice that in the year 1971 census population is around 16.83 lakhs, but in the year 2001 census, it's increased to 65.37 lakhs.
i.e. Increased by 48.84 lakhs (around 50 lakhs). WHY because of the introduction of the LPG system in Indian economy.
yes,,! yes,,! it's the main reason behind it. WHAT IS THE PROOF

1. Infosys big daddy of IT companies was moved its headquarter to Bengaluru in the year 1992.
2. Cognizant started its business in the 1990s.
3. Mind tree in the year 1999. So on.

    So like this many service-based and also Automobile manufacturing industries, textile industries started their business in Bengaluru between 1990s - 2000s. So this movement also affects on population growth.

If we look into the religion-wise population of Bengaluru in 2011 census.

  • 80.29% of the population is denoted by Hindus
  • 12.97% of the population is denoted by Muslims
  • 5.25% of the population is denoted by Christians
  • 2% of the population is denoted by other religion category.
This is all about brief information about the population of  Bengaluru.

2. WHY BENGALURU IS FAMOUS FOR.

    In the world, every city is famous for its own special/unique nature with regard to the historical story, monuments, climate, population & pollution. So on.
    Bengaluru is also famous for its own special features. just look into the following information and try to understand why Bengaluru is famous for.


City of Gardens:-

The left side picture is Lalbagh and the right side picture is Cubbon park 


    The city of gardens means, which place is highly located by trees, plants, & gardens, & parks.
    In Bengaluru Lalbagh, Cubbon park are famous, other then that Freedom park, JP park, Budda park, Bugle rock park & so many gardens(parks) are located in Bengaluru, that's why we called Bengaluru as Garden city.

Pub capital of India:-



    Bengaluru is also famous as Pub capital of India because in Bengaluru has over 1000+ party halls, restaurants, hotels, pubs are located. That's why Bengaluru is also famous as a pub capital.

Oldest Radia club in the country:-



    The AMATEUR RADIO CLUB was started in Bengaluru for the first time in India in the year 1959.

Shopping at Brigade road & Commercial street:-


    As we all known, Bengaluru is famous for shopping on weekends, festival sessions. mainly shopping in Brigade road famous for trendy items, while Commercial street famous for street vendors and this are the right place to bargain.

The invention of RAVA IDLI:-

    

    The interesting fact about Bengaluru is famous for the invention of the South Indian delicious food RAVA IDLI, it was invented at the time of World war because to serve the poor & soldiers @lowest rate.


Hub of headquarters:-

  The headquarter of some of the Indian largest companies such as Wipro, ISRO, Infosys, HAL are located in Bengaluru so we called it in the name Silicon Valley of India & also the IT hub of India.

Apart from the above-mentioned information, Bengaluru is also famous for a lot of things like Ports, lakes, watching towers, Temples, Canals, old railway tracks, Museums & so on.

3. BEST PLACE TO VISIT IN BENGALURU.

    In Bengaluru, there are plenty of tourist places to visit for every category of people. i.e. for Historians, explorers, friends, family, couples & lovers. Among those, I would like to discuss few places which really everyone likes to visit once who came to Bengaluru.

Lalbagh:-


    The Lalbagh botanical garden is home to numerous birds and wildlife. It's famous for flower shows conducts during the Republic & Independence day
    It's located 8km away from the city center.

Bannerghatta national park:-



    The  Bannerghatta national park is one known for a large variety of flora & fauna. The main attraction is children's park, the Crocodile farm, Snake park & mainly for trekking.
    It's located ar 22km away from city center.

Cubbon park:-



    The Cubbon Park is one of the best place to visit in Bengaluru & this place is famous for Bengaluru Aquarium & its home for more than 6000 trees & it spread across 100 acres.
    It's located 2km away from the city center.

Iskcon temple:-



   Bengaluru is land for the most famous Hindu temples, among those ISKCON TEMPLE is also one.
    Iskcon temple is known for its spirituality speech, also it's one of the hotspot for Krishna devotees, couples, and the best place to rush out on weekends.
    It's located 6km away from the city center.
 

Vidhana Soudha:-



    The Vidhana Soudha is house of MLA & MLC's & popularly known as Taj Mahal of South India.
     It's located 2km away from the city center.

Nandhi hills:-



    Nandhi hill is well-known as weekend getaway to IT and industrial working people. It's situated at a height of 4815feet above the sea level, here the cool and calmness make mind and body peaceful. Early morning cycling is the most attractive thing to do.
    It's located 45km away from city center.

Bengaluru royal palace:-    


    As the name says Bengaluru royal palace, it's one of the place to know how the royal life was leaded by king families and their culture which depicted here says how rich they are.
Nowadays this place is most preferred destination for important events & cultural programs.
    It's located 6km away from the city center.

Bengaluru is one of the multicultural & diverse place in this world. After this discussion definitely we came to know that Bengaluru is not only a place for jobs, companies, factories, it takes our country to next level by its rich culture & unforgettable history.
