    Today I am going to discuss with you all about technical skills that are majorly needed to boost your Resume and CV in this competitive world. Then don't waste much time let's start the discussion.

        Technical skills are the abilities, knowledge, or expertise required to perform specific, job-related tasks. Technical skills are related to jobs in science, engineering, tech, manufacturing, or finance. They are learned through on-the-job experience or structured learning.

 
But then again, every job requires a different skill set. For some, it will be optimizing neural networks, for others sketching wireframes. For most of us, it might be something like using spreadsheets to track sales.

Here’s a great list of technical skills for resumes and CV, then start to list out your preferred skills according to your job description and try to learn those skills as soon as possible to get your dream job.

Examples of Technical Skills

  1. MS Office. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, OneNote. 
  2. Email. Filters, folders, mail merge, rules.
  3. Google Drive. Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides.
  4. Writing. WordPress, SEO, Yoast, journalism, technical writing, ghostwriting.
  5. Spreadsheets. Excel, Google Sheets, OpenOffice, comparative analyses, pivot tables, macros, link to database, vertical lookups.
  6. Social Media. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, posts, giveaways, customer interaction.
  7. Phone skills. Voicemail, forwarding, hold, recording.
  8. Productivity. Trello, Slack, Asana, Todoist, Zapier, Basecamp.
  9. Quickbooks. Invoicing, expense tracking, accounts payable, reports, payroll, employee time tracking, cash flow management.
  10. Graphical. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Free Hand, Corel Draw.
  11. Web. HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress, Content Management Systems (CMS).
  12. Enterprise Systems. Payment Processing, Automated Billing Systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRMs like Oracle Netsuite or Salesforce), Business Continuity Planning, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs like SAP, Oracle).

  16. Programming Skills. C#, SQL, Java, C++, HTML, JavaScript, XML, C, Perl, Python, PHP, Objective-C, AJAX, ASP.NET, Ruby (with SQL, Java, and Python being the top 3 tech skills according to data).
  17. Troubleshooting. Assessment, system knowledge, analytical skill, testing, calm mindset, problem-solving, logic, critical thinking skill, collaboration, communication.
  18. Planning. Anal, conceptual skill, brainstorming, decision-making, forecasting, logistics, problem solving skill, cost-assessment, requirements-gathering.
  19. Project management skill. Task management, prioritization, delegation, task separation, scheduling, risk management, Scrum.
  20. Video Creation. Shooting, framing, writing, editing, compressing, uploading, creating engagem. Presentation Public speaking, PowerPoint, Keynote.
